The following examples show how screencasts can be adapted to suit your course material. Additionally, different approaches to producing screencasts are possible.
Samples of different approaches to screencasts:
- A screencast may be produced to give an overview of important points in a lecture, either as a preview (perhaps combined with flipped teaching) or as a post-lecture summary.
Example: Screencasts in Engineering
Example: Screencasts in Media Studies
- A screencast may be produced in relation to a specific topic in a course. This type of screencast is useful as a shared resource, and is not restricted to students in a particular module.
Example: Screencasts in Chemical Engineering
